Jraven Tribble takes in SEC visit

The 6' 5", 245-pound two way lineman out of Raleigh rode with his teammates and cousins, WR Donte Moncrief and DT Woodrow Hamitlon, to Oxford last Friday. To see how his visit went, read below.

"It went nice," added Jraven Tribble about the Ole Miss trip. "We toured the school and learned more about how close everything is up there."

What was Tribble hoping to learn about Ole Miss before he came on the trip and what did he learn about those issues?

"I got to know the coaches better and developed a better relationship with those guys. I just wanted to see how the program is run and stuff like that. The coaches were real down to earth too. They want you to succeed."

What did the coaches say to "Ray/Ray", as he goes by family and friends, as far as where he stands with them?

"They want me to come to the camp this Saturday and work out with the defensive ends and offensive tackles. They want to see what I have and what I can do. They also want to see how big I have gotten. That is the big question with a lot of the schools, my weight."

What questions did Jraven have for the Ole Miss coaches?

"I really did not ask any questions. We mostly just talked, and I listened for the most part."

What impressed Ray/Ray the most out of everything he heard and saw?

"I was impressed with how the school works and their conditioning workout plan. They get you real swollen up there. There are some big guys on that team."

Who are the colleges that have caught Tribble's eye so far?

"I would say Ole Miss and Alabama are real high for me. Me and my cousins, Woodrow Hamilton and Donte Moncrief, are still undecided though.""

What stands out about Alabama?

"I like their staff and how hard they work you. I just like their environment."

USM remains Jraven's only offer up to this point, but if he works on his weight that could change.

"Everybody wants to see how big I am going to get before the end of the season. I just have to concentrate on gaining some weight over the next several months. That's all they really want to see."

Anymore visits scheduled?

"I will be up in Oxford on Saturday and Southern Miss on Monday for their DE/OL camp."
