Darrin Reaves got the news he had been waiting on for a while this week. He received his first…
Intro: Justin Nared
"I am going to Alabama A&M this Friday to meet the coaches," said Justin Nared. "I am then going to Southern Miss for their one day camp. I am going back to Troy next Friday for their camp.
"I have been to Alabama State, the national underclassman combine, Troy, Auburn and the South Showcase Combine. I don't have any offers right now. Southern Miss and Alabama State could be close to offering. Southern Miss is recruiting me as a quarterback. Alabama State is recruiting me as a safety."
Nared has a big list of favorites, but he discussed the schools recruiting him the hardest.
"Right now I would say Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Troy, Auburn, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, Southern Alabama and UAB are my favorites," he said. "Southern Miss and Alabama State are recruiting me the hadest. I know my coaches have talked to Alabama A&M a lot about me."
Southern Miss: "I love Southern Miss. I went to their Junior Day. I love the atmosphere, campus and coaching staff. They have a family-type environment. That's what I love about Southern Miss."
Alabama State: "I like the location. My dad stays in Montgomery. I can drive that any day of the week. It's an hour away from home. The location is really good."
Nared spent most of last season injured with a neck strain and high ankle sprain. He missed a few quarters here and there, but never missed an entire game. He completed 69-of-129 for 1,019 yards and nine touchdowns. He added 111 rushing attempts for 667 yards and five touchdowns.
