Florida DE enjoys FNL experience
Curt Maggitt took in Florida's Friday Night Lights Camp last night and talked about it. "It was a great experience. It was my first time going. I had a lot of fun and met a lot of people. I'm comfortable there, been a few times. I feel good around the coaches and players." In addition to Florida, Maggitt saw several other schools this summer. "I've been to UNC, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, and Gainesville," he said. "They've all went well, learned some things." Maggitt hasn't cut his list down yet but talked about where his interest lies. "A lot of the SEC and ACC schools, ones closer to home. I just wanna learn about them and some other schools, like Wisconsin. I also visited them and it seems good." Maggitt enjoyed his time at North Carolina as well and he talked about that. "They're a great school. They have great history and coaches and they're an uprising school." One school that seems to be backing off is Miami. He talked about that. "Miami, I haven't talked to them as much as I used to but I like Miami." The standout defensive end prospect talked about what he's looking for in choosing a school. "The relationship with the coaching staff, the comfortability, and how far from home but if I can spend my life there then it's a great place for me to be."
