"It's kind of up in the air right now," he said when asked if he had a decision date. "I still want to go over all the different schools, narrow down the list and go from there. I'm going to be narrowing it down real soon. I may commit early and I may wait. I'm not sure yet."
This weekend, Bryant checked in on Michigan, a school he had been to before, but not with his parents.
"That was the only school we visited this weekend. We just drove out there to see Michigan. It was great. It was real cool. Not too much was different for me, 'cause I had went up there when I was at Sound Mind, but it was so my parents could see what I had saw."
What they saw was everything the school has to offer.
"We did the academic tour, went to the field, weight room, locker room, and Coach Rod's office. Everyone with me definitely love it. It's an option for me. They loved everything about it and so did I."
With the season so close, and Simeon one of the top teams in the Windy City and state of Illinois, Bryant says taking more trips is unlikely.
"Not right now. No visits are planned. I want to try to get focused and locked down on the season."
Bryant carries a 3.4 GPA and plans on majoring in either business or sports management.
