Price Favoring Two Right Now

Pittsburgh Woodland Hills linebacker Ejuan Price reported Tuesday evening that he has two favorites at the current time, and he might be receptive to hearing from other schools as well. Price recently completed a visit to Iowa, and the Hawkeyes impressed the youngster greatly, moving to the top of his list with another Big Ten school, Ohio State. Bill Greene has the latest on Price.

Four-star linebacker Ejuan Price, 6-foot, 235-pounds, announced Tuesday evening that he now has co-leaders at the top of his list.

The Pittsburgh Woodland Hills star recently completed an unofficial visit to Iowa, vaulting the Hawkeyes to the co-favorite position.

"I had a great visit to Iowa last week, and I'd say that they are tied with Ohio State right now as my leaders," Price informed. "My trip to Iowa was better than I thought it would be, and I was very impressed."

"I was impressed with everything Iowa had to offer, and I get along well with their coaching staff," he continued. "They showed me the statistics on the high percentage of their seniors that have either been drafted, or received tryouts with the NFL. Their facilities were excellent, and I loved their weight room."

Price has visited several other schools, and right now he lists Iowa and Ohio State at the top, but there is still time for other programs to get involved.

"I've been to Pittsburgh, Florida and West Virginia, in addition to Ohio State and Iowa," he stated. "I've been in contact with West Virginia in the past few days, and I'm definitely looking at them again. I was there for a junior day before. I'm still interested in Michigan State, even though we haven't spoken in a while. Florida wants to see tape of my first few games, but they haven't offered me yet. I'm not really considering Pitt anymore, and I haven't had much contact with Penn State lately, although I would consider them."

"I like Ohio State a lot, and I have a great relationship with assistant coach Luke Fickell," he explained. "We talk a lot, really. They also have great facilities and they are a winning program, so they're right up there for me."

Price has always wanted to make his choice before his senior season, and that is still the tentative plan, although he is open to waiting longer.

"I'd still like to get it done before my season starts, but that's not etched in stone," he stressed. "It could still happen that way, but I'm not going to rush things, because this decision is too important."
