Thomas Still in Neutral
Tino Thomas profile "Tennessee was my last camp," said Thomas. "I think I went to about eight or nine camps. I am just trying to get myself out there. I feel like I did a good job, a tremendously good job. "I worked my butt off and left with some offers. I enjoy competing, so that was good for me. I learned a lot of techniques this summer. That was the main thing that really helped me." With options from Arkansas, Duke, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Tennessee among others, Tino has a decision to make. The talented defensive back plans to get through with his season and pay close attention to the schools that are recruiting him this fall. A post season decision appears to be the course of action. "Things are still in neutral," said Thomas. "I am going to focus on my season. I am not trying to pressure myself. I just want to take my time with everything. "Tennessee was talking to me about committing, but I am just not ready yet. I want to take my visits before I do anything." Tino believes his Melrose team has a chance to have a very good season and his attention at this point is focused on that end. "I am just trying to get focused on the season," said Thomas. "We are going in full pads tonight at 6. I have been looking forward to it. Everybody looks pretty good. We're just ready to get going. "We had a real young team last year, so we have a lot of people coming back. We didn't lose a lot on defense, so I think we have the chance to have a real good season."
