Safety excited about decision
Lyndell Johnson made the recruiting process pretty simple. "The only place I've been is to Oklahoma State," Johnson said when asked where he's been this summer. "The reason why I chose them is because I like how their defense is and I think I can fit into what they're doing." Johnson, 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, had a good feeling going into that trip and his thoughts were confirmed. "Going into that visit, I already had the feeling that Oklahoma State was gonna be my home so that's why I went ahead and pulled the trigger." Johnson said after his OSU commitment, everyone else backed off. "Not right now, I haven't heard from anyone lately," he said. "That's my only visit that I'm gonna take." The standout safety is excited to get going with this season. He talked about some of the high expectations he has. "Two years ago we went 1-9 and last year we went two deep in the playoffs and this year we can take it all the way. My main goal is do our best and go further than last year and hopefully make the best out of it."
