All hyperbole aside, the last time a Northeast Region safety has looked as good as Wayne Morgan looks on his sophomore highlights was when Will Hill came out of high school and that may be why he already has verbal offers from PSU, BC, UCONN, Maryland, Miami and Rutgers.

Wayne Morgan is a 5-foot-11, 191-pound free safety from Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., that brings ridiculous speed to the table and looks to be an absolutely violent player at his position. He already claims verbal offers from Boston College, Connecticut, Maryland, Miami, Penn State and Rutgers and many are sure to follow over the next two years.

Morgan was named first team All-City and All-Boro by the New York Post as a sophomore and was also a Brooklyn 44 Coaches selection. He registered 73 tackles and three interceptions from his safety position and also played quarterback on offense where he completed 30 of 61 passes for 598 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions. Morgan also carried the ball 119 times for 935 yards and 10 scores.

He boasts a 35-inch vertical leap, 75-inch wingspan and runs the 100-meter in 10.8 seconds.
