"UTEP offered me and Nevada has verbally offered me," said Reich. "I'm pretty excited about the UTEP offer and recruiting is going alright right now. I've been pretty busy the last couple of days because we're in conditioning for the season. But I send e-mails out every day and try to stay in touch with everyone."
Reich plans to visit UTEP on September 18th when they play New Mexico State.
He's also hoping to add some Pac-10 schools to the mix and several have been in contact with him, in addition to hometown San Diego State.
"I've hear from UCLA, Washington State, San Diego State, Arizona, mostly Pac-10 schools and they all want to watch some of my senior year," said Reich. "They're looking at me mostly as a tackle, though Washington State said they liked my footwork and could see me as a guard and tackle. They're really the only team that said anything about playing guard. Most like my size (6-7, 283) as a tackle."
Reich said he has no favorite at this point in his recruitment.
"I wouldn't really say so, because I need to see some schools and really get a feel for them. Obviously, growing up I liked schools, but I don't really know where I want to go. My favorite school growing up was USC but I have become more of a UCLA fan in the last couple of years."
Reich camped at both USC and UCLA and also at San Diego State this past summer.
He plans to take as many visits as he can, preferably all five, and has an ideal time frame for when he wants to announce his decision.
"The earliest I could commit is halfway through the season, but I'll probably wait until the end of the season," said Reich.
Academically, Reich has a 3.0 and said he'd be taking the SAT and ACT in the fall.
