I haven't been getting contact, but a guy named Paul asked me the same question said come check out practices and scout one of the games.
We first spotted Chicago Lindblom defensive tackle Corey Thomas a few weeks back at the Sound Mind, Sound Body camp in Harvey.
I admittedly had to look up Lindblom, as it was not a school I was familiar with, but Thomas was one of the best looking kids in attendance.
I found out later that the 6'3, 280-lb Thomas was an All-City selection at offensive tackle, and had 49 tackles on defense.
When asked if he has heard from any schools, Thomas said, "No, not yet."
That is partly due to him not going to any camps other than Sound Mind, Sound Body. The recruiting action should come eventually, and when it does, Thomas says he wants to hear from most of the Big Ten.
"I'd like to hear from Northwestern, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Penn State and Ohio State," he reported.
As for which side of the ball he plays on, it is a completely open situation.
"It doesn't really matter to me, but I realize I'm a better offensive tackle. It doesn't really matter to me though."
