Kion Williams is a standout running back prospect from Interlachen High and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Kion Willams talked about the few places he went to this summer.

"I went the UF camp. When I went to South Florida it was like a combine and we did testing but then it starting thundering and lighting so we didn't really do much."

Williams, 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, has one official visit in mind.

"I am planning on going to UCF to visit them. I got to call Coach O'Leary back, most likely I am going to their game when they play North Dakota or Washington."

Williams has already been to UCF, the school he committed to recently.

"I went to the scrimmage game, I was watching the running backs and they needed help. I was talking to Coach O'Leary and he said if I come there I would be a big help to their team. They have a lot of support out there."

So what's the status of his commitment? Williams explained.

"I am still committed, but I am still looking at other colleges. I am still looking at South Florida heavy. I like their campus. If I can I am going to set up a visit to South Florida too. It is mainly out of UCF and South Florida, but UCF is still my favorite."

Why the Knights?

"They were recruiting the most. They were on me the most out of all the schools I was looking at. Coach O'Leary said when we went to his office and he liked the way I looked. I talked to him at the scrimmage game."

In addition to those two schools, Williams claims offers from FIU and Arkansas.

The standout running back, who claims a 3.2 GPA and an 18 ACT score, talked about his goals for this season.

"My goals this season is to play my hardest, try to break records and to be one of the top recruits. The school I just transferred to is 1 and 29 the last few years, Interlachen, so I am gonna help them out an win some more games."
