Scout.com was in Springfield, Pa., on Thursday afternoon to watch Penn Wood High School and Cardinal O’Hara High School scrimmage and got the chance to see Penn State commitment Shawn Oakman in action. Inside is an interview with Oakman and some pictures from the contest.

Scout.com spent some time with Penn State commitment Shawn Oakman on Thursday afternoon and talked to him a bit about his commitment to the Nittany Lions. Unfortunately a bit of the interview is cut off by a camera malfunction, however fans can watch most of it below and see pictures of him as well.

You can see just how big the defensive lineman is as he absolutely towers over his Penn Wood teammates.



Here we see Oakman in his defensive stance.



The defensive end rips into the backfield for one of his three tackles for loss during the scrimmage.



Oakman also played tight end on offense and made a terrific block here to spring a huge run off the right side.
