"We did a lot of the same schemes last year," said Terrell. "We didn't show a lot of plays last week because we got up. We have had some good coaching and we were ready to play."
Pinson and his teammates have enjoyed getting to know their new coach, David Bradberry, over the course of the last few months. They saw a new side to their new head man on Friday.
"Coach was real intense on game day, said Terrell. "He showed us a lot. In the game and in the pep rally, he showed he was ready. I liked it."
The Golden Wave got a nice contribution from Pinson on both sides of the ball.
"I had a pretty good game," said Terrell. "I had 152 yards, two interceptions and five tackles. It felt great to be back out there. We moved the ball good and played good defense."
A pair of in state programs are showing interest and a school just across the state line has extended a scholarship offer.
"Memphis has offered me. I think Southern Miss and Ole Miss may offer after the season. I am just trying to have a great year and help myself."
With a few more nights like last Friday night, Terrell will certainly help his cause.
