Scout traveled into Florida last month and stopped at over 20 schools. One was the Bolles School and they are known for winning state championships and producing top recruits.
One recruit they have in the 2011 class is Nathan Theus. He is not your everyday recruit though. He was being recruited as a long snapper and while prospects at that position are lucky to get one Division I offer, Theus held three.
He chose Georgia over Florida State and South Carolina. All three had offered and Florida was still evaluating him as well.
Theus took many visits to Athens and he felt at home there. At the Dawg Night Camp on July 16, he committed to the Bulldogs. Theus took the time to talk with Scout about his decision, why he chose UGA, if his brother John Theus (one of the top 2012 offensive tackles in the country) could join him, and more.
