Eleanor Roosevelt High School athlete Derrick Thomas committed to Penn State thinking he would be playing in the defensive backfield at either cornerback or safety, however recently the coaching staff told him that he may have the opportunity to touch the field earlier at wide receiver with three seniors leaving this year.
