Even without an offer, Summerville (SC) offensive lineman Brian Baker is keeping an open mind about the season and colleges on his list.

Clemson, South Carolina, Duke, NC State, North Carolina, and Maryland are the schools I am taking a look at right now. There are a couple more, but those are the main ones,” says the 6-foot-4, 275 pounder. “I went to the Clemson and South Carolina camps, and I visited the three in North Carolina as well.”

Teams are waiting to offer Baker, and he knows that a strong senior season should secure a scholarship.

“They want to see the first couple of games of my senior film, so there is a little bit of pressure. This off-season I worked hard to get stronger, and I am doing alright there. I have a 370 pound bench and looking at a 525 squat, but I want to get over 400 pounds on my bench by the time I graduate.”

Baker just adds to an already potent Summerville line on an offense which averaged over 300 yards rushing per game last season.
