He may be a smaller running back but boy does LaRod Stephens make big plays. Stephens, 5-8 and 165 pounds, runs in the mid-4.4 range and looks like a tremendous player on film.

Stephens, from Greater Johnstown High School in Pennsylvania, is very explosive with great speed, quickness, vision, balance and elusiveness. He shows no fear on the field, as he can run between the tackles and has that great speed to get around the corner. Stephens hits the hole hard and has a great bounce to the outside. In the open field he is a deadly runner. He also is a good receiver out of the backfield and he will block when asked to.
