Township High School. In seven games Christensen has thrown for over 2,000 yards and 33 TD passes. More importantly, his team is unbeaten. Jake Christensen is a four-star recruit and the No. 6 rated quarterback prospect by Scout.com. Christensen, from Lockport (Ill.) Township High School, is having a blockbuster senior campaign. Through seven games his team is unbeaten and along the way he has thrown for 2,080 yards (122/204), 33 touchdown passes and only five interceptions. Those are huge numbers for the southpaw that’s headed to Iowa to play for the Hawkeyes. They could even be bigger but he’s really only playing three of four quarters of football in each game. “Jake has grown up so much since his junior year,” said Chris Pool, Midwest Analyst for Scout.com. “I didn’t think he could actually get this much better but he has. Jake has had a great senior year. He’s bigger, stronger, has a better arm and is just more mature. Jake also has good fundamentals and makes great decisions.
