Decisions, decisions, decisions. Here we are with a week to go until National Signing Day (February 7th) and many big name blue chippers are still on the board. Lets take a closer look at the top 28 undecided prospects, as all heck is about to break loose with commitments, commitments, and more commitments.

Here we are less than seven days until National Signing Day and there are many elite prospects still on the board and undecided. This year in particular, it's very hard to pin point some of these blue-chippers and where they are going to land. Many are playing things close to the vest. You have committed prospects taking over visits and changing their minds. You have committed players that could sign elsewhere come February 7th. With that said, it's hard to predict what they will do but here I take a stab at. Some are easy to read, some are not.

1) Joe McKnight (RB)
River Ridge, La.
Finalists: USC, LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, FSU, Miami
What will McKnight do? That's the million dollar question. Will it be his early leader (USC) or will he stay home (LSU)? Will he shock the world and pick Ole Miss? It doesn't look like McKnight will make a visit to Alabama, FSU or Miami this weekend and he is now done with his visits. The popular sentiment is that it will come down between the Trojans and Tigers but I am here to tell you to watch out for Ole Miss.
Prediction: USC

Marvin Austin
2) Marvin Austin (DT)
Washington (D.C.) Ballou
Finalists: Florida State, North Carolina, USC, Tennessee, Maryland
It appears to be a two team race between the Seminoles and Tar Heels. He loves USC but distance could play a big factor in his decision. UNC has come on strong and made up a ton of ground. FSU was his early leader and we all know how Bobby Bowden closes.
Prediction: FSU

3) Terrance Toliver (WR)
Hempstead (Texas)
Finalists: LSU and Florida
Toliver narrowed his list down to two schools a while ago and still no decision has been made. He grew up wanting to play for the Tigers and that's where I thought he was headed all along. I am not so sure anymore, as Florida has caught LSU in the Toliver sweepstakes and the Gators are rolling right now in recruiting. This one is too close to call but I have to anyway...
Prediction: Florida

Chad Jones
4) Chad Jones (S)
Baton Rouge (La.) Southern University Lab
Finalists: LSU, Florida, FSU, USC, Alabama
Jones emerged as the top safety in America and he will take his fifth and final visit this weekend (Alabama). He was blown away by Southern Cal and Florida. Whoever signs him will have to wait until the June to see how high he is selected in the Major League Baseball Draft, as he is also one of the top high school baseball players in the nation.
Prediction: LSU

Ronald Johnson
5) Ronald Johnson (CB)
Muskegon (Mi.)
Finalists: Michigan, Florida, Michigan State, USC, Ohio State
I thought it was a forgone conclusion that Johnson was headed to Ann Arbor until he visited Gainesville last weekend. He was blown away by the University of Florida. However, his parents didn't make the trip and Urban Meyer and his staff had to rely on a Sunday in-home visit to win them over. Did it work? Then, there are reports (by Sam Webb, of our Michigan site) today that Johnson has dropped Michigan and it's now down to Florida and USC. Wow. Talk about a turn of events.
Prediction: Florida

Noel Devine and Deion Sanders
6) Noel Devine (RB)
North Fort Myers (Fla.)
Finalists: FSU, Alabama, West Virginia, LSU, ???
Although Devine may end up in Prep School for a year there will certainly be a battle for his signature until the very end. Last weekend he tripped to Alabama. Will he make a trip to West Virginia this weekend, go to Tallahassee or will another team emerge? How influential is Deion Sanders on his decision? Nobody knows what this mystery recruit will do. Another question to bring up, could Devine possibly wait and not sign on Signing Day? That certainly could happen as his recruitment could drag out beyond February 7th. If he does sign next Wednesday my pick will be whoever he visits this weekend.
Prediction: West Virginia or FSU but he may not sign with anyone next week

7) Donovan Warren (CB)
Long Beach (Calif.) Poly
Finalists: USC, Michigan, Cal., UCLA
Warren is a big time cover corner and one of the top prospects on the defensive side of the ball. His visits are done and we are all awaiting his decision. Will this be an east/west battle between USC and Michigan? The Wolverines are making this one interesting at the end.
Prediction: USC

Deonte Thompson
8) Deonte Thompson (WR)
Belle Glade (Fla.) Central
Finalists: Florida, FSU, Miami, Ohio State, USC
Last week it was shaping up to be a Gator/Trojan recruiting battle for Thompson. Something tells me he will elect to stay in-state. It has been rumored that Thompson may make a decision this week. If that's the case it could likely come down to Florida or Miami. If he waits and remains uncommitted then he could make an unofficial visit to Tallahassee this weekend.
Prediction: Florida

John Brown
9) John Brown (DT)
Lakeland (Fla.)
Finalists: Florida, Alabama, FSU, Ole Miss
Brown has visited Tuscaloosa and Gainesville over the last two weekends. Word is he has already made his decision but has not yet gone public.
Prediction: Florida

Allen Bailey
10) Allen Bailey (DE/LB)
Darian (Ga.) McIntosh County
Finalists: Miami, Florida, Alabama
Bailey shocked the recruiting world last week by eliminating the Bulldogs. Look for a decision at the end of this week. The scuttlebutt is that Miami is the team to beat and that Alabama and Florida are trying to make a big, late push.
Prediction: Miami

Ahmad Paige
11) Ahmad Paige (WR)
Sterlington (La.)
Finalists: Florida, Tennessee, USC
Paige is waiting for his final visit (USC) this weekend before he makes his final decision. Florida is the team to beat with Tennessee on the Gator heels. Paige desparately wants to see Southern Cal first. If UF has room it's the Gators, if not it could be the Vols.
Prediction: Florida

12) Lennon Creer (RB)
Tatum (Texas)
Finalists: Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama
Look for Creer to pick from Tennessee and Oklahoma. He has been a recruiting mystery all year. It could go either way. He is visiting Alabama right now so what kind of impression will the Tide make and can they work there way to the top?
Prediction: Tennessee

Stefoin Francois
13) Stefoin Francois (S)
Reserve (La.) East Saint John
Finalists: LSU, FSU, Arkansas, Tennessee
LSU is likely the team to beat but FSU is right there and Arkansas could be his sleeper team.
Prediction: LSU

14) Rashod Mason (WR)
Nashville (Tenn.) Pearl-Cohn
Finalists: North Carolina, Ole Miss, Michigan, Kentucky
This is another one where I just don't have a good feel for. Mason liked the players at Michigan, the coaches at UNC and the direction and playing opportunity at Ole Miss. I do think it comes down to these three schools. Ole Miss is the closest team to home but...
Prediction: North Carolina

Dwight Jones
15) Dwight Jones (WR)
Burlington (N.C.) Cummings
Finalists: North Carolina, Tennessee, Clemson
Jones will announce between the three. He says he is still committed to the Tar Heels. Some say he will be wearing orange but which team, Clemson or Tennessee?
Prediction: Clemson

16) Robert Marve (QB)
Tampa (Fla.) Plant
Finalists: Alabama, Miami, Hawaii
Marve originally committed to Alabama but backed off after the coaching change. UM made a big, late push and this is a tight one. If Hawaii was closer...
Prediction: Miami

17) Cameron Heyward (DT)
Suwannee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge
Finalists: Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State
Heyward will make his final visit this weekend (Ohio State). He has turned into a must get for his home-state Bulldogs. Florida has made a big push. Can the Buckeyes make a great last impression? He was in Columbus for the Michigan game and his family is from Pennsylvania.
Prediction: Ohio State

Christian Scott
18) Christian Scott (S)
Dallas (Texas) Skyline
Finalists: LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M
After his fifth and final visit (to Texas) Scott said he was torn between all four schools. Will he stay in state or bolt for Baton Rouge, Norman or Stillwater? His family will help with the decision. He will likely leave the state.
Prediction: Oklahoma

Brandon Hicks
19) Brandon Hicks (LB)
Jacksonville (Fla.) Forrest
Finalists: Florida, Clemson, Miami
Hicks has been a done deal for Florida for some time or has he? If he was a Gator then why has he not committed yet? Clemson and Miami appear to be right there. The 'Canes are coming on strong and got his last visit. The Tigers always pull players from the city of Jacksonville. This one is another tight one.
Prediction: Florida

Sidell Corley
20) Sidell Corley (DE)
Mobile (Ala.) McGill-Toolen
Finalists: Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, Oklahoma
Corley has now de-committed from the Gators. Look for the Nick Saban and Philip Fulmer to battle hard for this one. Much could depend on his upcoming visit to Baton Route this weekend and it could turn into a three team battle.
Prediction: Alabama

Josh Bynes
21) Josh Bynes (LB)
Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) Boyd Anderson
Finalists: Auburn, South Carolina, Iowa, Louisville
This is another tough call. He mentions that the Tigers and Gamecocks are his two favorites. Auburn has been there all along.
Prediction: Auburn

Wesley Saunders
22) Weslye Saunders (TE)
Durham (N.C.) Riverside
Finalists: North Carolina and South Carolina
South Carolina is sitting on 30 commitments and have to be near done. North Carolina seems to be so close on prospects like Saunders. This one could go either way. When in doubt go with the home state school.
Prediction: North Carolina

Scout.com
23) Kaniela Tuipulotu (DT)
Kahuku (Hi.)
Finalists: Hawaii, Arizona, Utah
It's down to the trio for Tuipulotu and it appears he will stay home if they have room for him. If the Rainbow Warriors can keep a fence around the island, look out. There are always great big men in Hawaii.
Prediction: Hawaii

Brandon Paul
24) Brandon Paul (CB) Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln
Finalists: Clemson, Tennessee, Florida State, Auburn
The final four for Paul. What will this speedster do? It looks like it could come down to Bowden vs Bowden. At this time Paul still doesn't know so neither do I.
Prediction: FSU

DeMarcus Van Dyke
25) DeMarcus Van Dyke
Miami (Fla.) Pace
Finalists: Miami or Florida
First Van Dyke committed to Miami. Now he is committed to Florida. Van Dyke recently took an official visit to Miami. Will he stay home?
Prediction: Miami

Scout.com
26) Omar Bolden (CB)
Ontario (Calif.) Colony
Finalists: Oregon State, Arizona State, UTEP
It's down to three and likely between OSU and ASU.
Prediction: Oregon State

Broderick Green on Penn State Visit.
27) Broderck Green
Little Rock (Ar.) Pulaski Academy
Finalists: USC, Penn State, Ohio State
Green made an earlier decision to commit to USC. Now has he visited Penn State and Ohio State. It could be anyone of them.
Prediction: Penn State

Kourtnei Brown
28) Kourtnei Brown
Charlotte (N.C.) Victory Christian
Finalists: Alabama, North Carolina, Clemson
Brown is a soft commitment to Alabama. Does he stick with the Crimson Tide or pick UNC or Clemson?
Prediction: North Carolina
