Rice landed not only a good player when Clay Hebert gave them a commitment, but as you can tell by watching this episode of ScoutTV they secured a smart player as well. Hebert is looking forward to his final high school season and beginning his college career for the Owls. Clay Hebert, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound offensive guard from Klein High in Texas was one of the better performers on the line at the Scout.com Combine in Dallas earlier this year by securing All-Combine honors after flattening a few of the defensive linemen in the one-on-one portion of the event. Scout.com was recently at Klein High school to talk with Clay about the reasoning behind his decision to play for Rice and what he believes the program brings to the table.
