The only camp that Burton Scott attended was Auburn's. "It was a fun camp," he said. "I worked out at both defensive back and wide receiver and felt I did well. I like the coaches and learned a lot from them. They are good people." Burton Scott, the 5-foot-10.5, 190-pound four-star wide receiver/defensive back from Vigor High School in Prichard, Ala., has over 20 scholarships offers but says all the attention hasn't helped him focus on an early decision.

"I just need to pray about it," Scott said. "I'm still really open right now and not thinking about it. I don't know what I'm looking for yet. I just want to take my time and not pressure myself.

"I really want to take my official visits and see how I fit in," he said. "I want to get to know the coaches better and all the players too. I really want to get a feel for what it's like to go there."

Although Scott denies a leader and hasn't set any official trips, he favors Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, USC and Miami. All of his favorites have offered, plus several others. "I'm gonna try to visit Alabama next week and I may go to Florida State as well," Scott said.

"I like coach Nick Saban a lot because he's got good experience and I think he'll be able to bring them back to the top."

The only camp that Scott attended was at Auburn. "It was a fun camp," he said. "I worked out at both defensive back and wide receiver and felt I did well. I like the coaches and learned a lot from them. They are good people."

Scott, ranked No. 29 in the Southeast by Scout.com, says that most schools are recruiting him for offense, except USC, which wants him for either cornerback or safety. "I'd like to visit them officially and see what it's like," he said.

He reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 16 ACT, which he will retake.
