Right now Jones is part of a backfield that features three running backs, however next year he will most likely start to shoulder a much bigger load in the Ironmen offense. Tony Jones may be a bit small at 5-foot-6.5, 160 pounds, but what he lacks in sheer size he makes up for with speed and agility. The Don Bosco Prep running back shared the ball with two other ball carriers on Saturday night, however he managed 99 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries and also added 109 kick return yards and a 21-yard catch. Most importantly, Jones turned it on when his team needed him most when tied late in the 4th quarter with a 25-yard touchdown run to win the game and a 41-yarder to seal it.
