Aaron Barrett (RHP, Wabash Valley CC, ILL) -
The 6' 4", 215 pound power pitcher made it final this weekend when he committed
to the University of Mississippi.
"I committed to Ole Miss,"
added Aaron Barrett. "I called Coach Bianco and told him if he has a #33
jersey, I am ready to be a Rebel. He was pretty excited."
Barrett
then proceeded to call the baseball recruiting coordinator at Ole Miss.
"I
called Coach Rob, and he was real excited. He said I just completed their puzzle."
Why
Ole Miss?
"When I ever I took my visit, as soon as I stepped on their
field, I knew that is where I wanted to pitch. Plus, Lance Lynn showed me a around,
and he was a big factor in my decision. It is just a great school, in the premier
baseball conference in America, and I feel like I fit in the best there."
Barrett
said he choose the Rebels over Louisville and Kentucky.
Aaron had a 2.45
ERA and opponents batted less than .200 for the season as a freshman for Wabash
Valley College.
