Scout.com’s top ranked player Arthur Brown is enjoying a solid senior season. Largely in part to his leadership on defense the East Aces are looking to advance to the playoffs. Although he suffered an ankle injury last Friday night he was still able to make some big plays to help East defeat their cross-town rival Wichita Heights.
Arthur Brown, 6-foot-1, 225-pound five-star linebacker from East High in Wichita, Kan., is considering offers from Oklahoma, Kansas State, USC, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL), North Carolina and Alabama.
Brown is a true leader from his spot at linebacker and provides key plays sometimes from his spot at fullback. He is extremely fast and is able to attain full speed in what seems like an instant to close in on the ball carrier, but the most admirable quality that you have to love about Brown is his ability to make bone jarring hits. You can not only feel them on the sidelines or in the stands, but they suck the energy out of the opposing teams.
