Of the top 21 players in the West, 16 already have made commitments, but the regions top prospect, Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure running back Darrell Scott isn't one of them. USC, UCLA, Washington and Notre Dame have several of the West's best committed to them...
Darrell Scott is the top prospect in the West, and has been all year. He's also uncommitted, also as he's been all year. Nothing has changed with Scott's recruitment, he remains wide open and no one has knocked the Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure running back off his perch.
But there is a new face at #2, in Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde tackle Tyron Smith, who is now the top-ranked tackle in the country and moves up from the 10th spot.
Some of the biggest movers in the rankings include Vaughn Telemaque, Lawrence Guy, Chris Polk and Cody Bruns.
New additions to the West 150 include Andrew Abbott, the Scout.com San Francisco Combine MVP Ebahn Feathers, A.J. Pickens, Kama Bailey, Quintin Toailoa and Matt Akers.
A handful of the top 150 have suffered season ending injuries, namely Marquis Simmons (broken leg), Kevin Prince (ACL) and Matt Meyer (broken foot), yet all are expected to be recovered for their freshman year.
