Signal caller Nick Raven just finished his senior season, completing 60 of 132 passes for 696 yards, four touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also carried 65 times for 216 yards and two touchdowns in nine games. Recently he took another unofficial visit and has some others planned for next year.
Nick Raven, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback from North Pocono High School in Moscow, Pa., recently took an unofficial visit to Syracuse and was asked back to take his second visit to Rutgers, although he was not able to make it do to a conflict in scheduling. The junior athlete will be taking a trip this spring to check out the Vanderbilt program as well.
“The visit to Syracuse went really well,” Raven said. “I got to go down onto the field and meet with some of the coaches before I watched the players go through their initial walk through. It was good getting to see what the players go through before the game and another cool thing was that they retired Larry Csonka’s number at halftime which was obviously neat to be a part of. It was the South Florida game, so they go beaten, but the crowd was still very into the game. I just like the campus and enjoy my time there.”
Raven is also hearing from Michigan, Purdue, Indiana, Boston College, Buffalo and Alabama right now.
