His teammate and future Illinois tight end Hubie Graham has helped him early in the recruiting process and with three offers, Shrive should continue to flourish as Graham did over the next year. Eric Shrive, a 6-foot-7, 280-pound offensive tackle from West Scranton High School helped his team on both sides of the ball on Friday night to a 39-16 playoff win over Blue Mountain. Shrive was an absolute menace on the defensive side of the ball, causing all kinds of problems up front for his opponents and also showed why he was recognized as one of the top offensive linemen in the country. Right now he holds offers from Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Rutgers, but he has been talking to Penn State and a myriad of other programs.
