His Buford team advanced to the State Finals last week with a convincing 48-0 win over Dublin, and Hunter was a big reason why on both sides of the ball. Notre Dame commitment Omar Hunter (6-1/315) is a member of the Scout.com National 100. Hunter led his Buford (Ga.) team to the State Finals last week as a standout on both sides of the ball. Hunter lined up at defensive tackle and at left guard for the Wolves as they dominated a Dublin team ironically named the Fighting Irish. Hunter will take his skills to South Bend to play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and he has the size and strength to make an immediate contribution at defensive tackle. Hunter has been selected to play in the inaugural Under Armour All-America High School Football Game which will be shown on January 5th at 2:00 EST on ABC.
