Scout.com 4-star cornerback Robby Green made a surprise announcement on Tuesday and it was good news for Crimson Tide fans.

Scout.com 4-star cornerback Robby Green made a surprise announcement on Tuesday and it was good news for Crimson Tide fans.

"I'm going to be playing my college ball at Alabama," Green said. "I always knew that I wanted to play there and for coach Saban and now it's official."

Scout.com will have more on Green's decision later today.

Alabama has been on a recruiting roll the past month picking up commitments from 4 star prospects Green, Chris Jordan, Terrence Cody, Dont'a Hightower, and Barrett Jones.

The run has pushed Alabama all the way to the #3 spot (currently #4) on Scout's Team Recruiting Rankings that will be updated tomorrow morning to reflect Green's announcement.
