Nathan Stanley (QB, Tahlequah, OK) - The 6' 5", 205 pound signal
caller out of Sequoyah High arrived back from Ole Miss and La Tech visits on Tuesday,
as he drove straight over from the University of Mississippi to the Bulldogs campus
Sunday.
How did his La Tech trip go?
"It went well," added
Nathan Stanley. "I enjoyed the trip."
What stood out the most?
"It
is in a good town, and I like their coaches and the way their team is looking."
Nathan
got home Monday night and had a guest waiting at his door Tuesday.
"Maryland
brought their head coach and offensive coordinator to my school Tuesday morning.
The snow was pretty rough so they just came by the school. We got 5 or 6 inches
that day. It has been snowing here all week."
What did the Terps have
to say?
"They are just continuing to recruit me. They want me real
bad and were hoping I had a decision. I told them that I had not."
Yesterday
the head coach at La Tech came by.
"Coach Dooley came by. We had a
long sit down talk. It was a long meeting."
This morning, Ole Miss
was suppose to bring in their head coach.
"Coach Nutt is suppose to
come by but he might not make it because of the weather. If I do not go to Oregon State, he is going to come over here this weekend."
When did Oregon
State start recruiting Nathan?
"A few months ago. I might be snowed
in, so I might not be able to catch a plane to get out there, but I am suppose
to go out there this weekend."
Which official visit has given Nathan
the most "homy" feeling?
"I felt real good at most of the
places. That is what makes my decision a lot tougher. I can not say I like one
place better than the other right now."
