Jack Mewhort was one of the first in-state players to receive an offer from Ohio State and it did not take him long to think things over before he made his commitment to the Buckeyes. In this Scout.com feature we take a look at Mewhort in action from his junior season.

Ohio State commit Jack Mewhort, a 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive lineman from St. Johns Jesuit High in Toledo, Ohio is a very aggressive and fleet flooted lineman that plays hard all the way until the whistle blows, basically mauling the opposing defenders.

Mewhort, benches 365 pounds and can squat 415 pounds, is versatile enough to play a couple of spots along the line, but looks very good at center. He is also a tremendous student, sporting nearly a 3.5 GPA.
