Samuel Randall profile
"Florida State, Ohio State, USC, Southern Miss, Mississippi State, Ole Miss are all showing interest," said Sammy. "I was invited to junior day at Auburn, but I couldn't make it because I had to go for ACT prep."
Randall is waiting for his first offer and the talented runner believes he has a laundry list of possibilities.
"I think I may get offered soon by Southern Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn or Florida State," said Randall. Auburn sends me letters almost every week and when I send them my highlight film, they should like what they see."
Randall has had the chance to speak with coaches from a pair of schools over the past year and he was excited to make his case.
"I went to the MSU and Ole Miss basketball game, and the following day I met head coach Sylvester Croom and I talked with him," explained Sammy. "I told Coach Croom that my position was an athlete and he said that I look like a corner back and a return man on special teams.
I went to Florida State's football camp last summer and coach Mickey Andrews and Dexter Carter said they liked what they saw. They told me to keep working hard and to send them my highlight tape as my junior season ends."
Randall plans to return to FSU's summer camp this year in addition to Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Ole Miss and possibly Ohio State.
Sammy had over 1,200 all purpose yards as a junior including just over 1,100 rushing yards which was one of the ten best season totals in Mississippi's 5A classification.
