Upland (Calif.) quarterback Josh Nunes, one of the most recruited players in the West, grabbed his second offer from the Big 12.

"Last Wednesday, Josh called Texas Tech (assistant) coach Lincoln Reilly to learn that head coach Mike Leach had extended an offer to Nunes," said Upland recruiting coordinator Mike Esquivel.

Colorado was the first Big 12 school to offer Nunes.

Previously, Nunes has been offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, BYU, California, Hawaii, Louisville, New Mexico, San Diego State, SMU, Stanford and Utah.

A Scout 300 member, Nunes has been selected to the UnderArmour All-America Game.
