The 6' 3", 220 pound linebacker out of Terry Parker (FL/Class 5A) had a relatively slow start to his recruitment compared to many of his talents but that has changed as of late.
"I just got in the mail 10 minutes
ago with an offer from Arkansas," stated the excited Sam Barrington. "Last
Wednesday, Cinci offered me and then FIU came and offered me right after them.
Tulane came by last Friday. Florida came by last week too. Arkansas came on Friday,
and then I got in their offer today. Purdue also came by Friday. They sent over
Coach Brock Spratt."
Central Florida, Clemson, Illinois, and Purdue
also threw their name into the hat this spring with scholarship offers.
Who
could be next?
"I really do not know. Ole Miss has been by here twice.
Coach Vaughn is talking real good. Mississippi State sent in a coach on Tuesday.
I got moved to tailback that day. I think they liked what they saw."
