Scout.com's #19 ranked tailback has not attended any camps this summer so he can work on his grades.

"I am going to summer school this summer, so I did not have a chance to go to any camps," added Lacy.

Eddie rushed for over 1, 800 yards and 26 TD's as a junior for Dutchtown. There are several factors that contributed to his performance.

"I am like a power and speed back. It depends on the situation. In short yardage situations, I will run over you to get the 1st down. But if it is like 3rd and 10, I will make you miss and go for a while. I can shake you down too."

Lacy was named to the LSWA Class 5A All-State Team as a junior, but he does not plan to set any goals for the upcoming season.

"I do not set goals because once you get to them, you have a tendency to not push yourself anymore."

Which colleges have offered the talented tailback?

"I have offers from Oklahoma, Tennessee, Auburn, Arkansas, Iowa, Florida State, Minnesota, Nebraska, and La Tech."

Which schools stand out?

"Tennessee, Alabama, and Florida State do. I do not know why either. Those are just my favorites right now."

What stands out about the Vols?

"I never watched college football until the last couple of years, so the teams I like, I am going to watch them this year. So far, I have only been to LSU's campus and that was for Jr Day."

What got the 6' 0", 210 pound back interested in Tennessee?

"They send a lot of letters and talk to my coaches all of the time. They are interested in me, and I am interested in them too. It is the same with FSU and Alabama, they send me a lot of letters, more than the other schools. That is why I have more interest in them than the other schools."

But when asked which coaches he has kept in contact with this summer, a couple of different schools were mentioned."

"I have spoken to a coach from Alabama, MSU, and a coach from Oklahoma."

What were the sells from each school?

"Alabama called and told me they wanted me to come to one of their camps, but I was in summer school. MSU told me basically the same things. They said I can get some reps over there, and that I would be a good fit for their offense. But I really do not know anything about MSU or their offense because I have never watched them. Oklahoma compared me to Adrian Peterson. They said I run just like him and that is exactly what they needed."

When it does come decision time; what will be the main factors?

"I want to go to more of a running school than a passing school. I will also look at what year their returning starter is at RB."

Lacy reports a 2.0 GPA / 17 ACT.
