Billy Ray Stutzmann, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound wide receiver prospect from the St. Louis School in Honolulu, verbally committed to Hawai'i Monday night. This news was reported by Stephen Tsai of the Honolulu Advertiser and Doris Sullivan of the PIAA.

Stutzmann, a 6-foot-1, 150-pound wideout, claimed offers from Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, Colorado and Michigan State at the time of his commitment to the Warriors.

"Everything that I wanted in a college is at UH," Stutzmann told Tsai. "I just love the coaches there. I got to know all of the coaches there. They're great people and great coaches. I love what they're doing with the place. They're building all new things."

Stutzmann's brother Craig was a standout at UH and was recently hired by new Head Coach Greg McMackin as a Graduate Assistant. He's No. 34 on the Scout.com Northwest Hot 100 and considered the No. 3 receiver prospect in the region.
