Eureka (Calif.) is home to one of the premier linebackers in college football, USC's Rey Maualuga. The 2010 class has his cousin, Soma Vainuku, and Vainuku is hoping to have the same success. Here he is in sophomore highlights... Eureka (Calif.) linebacker/fullback Soma Vainuku is a prospect to watch in the 2010 class. Vainuku was one of the standouts of the Oakland UnderArmour/Scout.com Combine last month, working with both the running backs and linebackers. Eureka hasn't been well-known for their football prospects the past few years, save Rey Maualaga, the star backer for USC who was one of the elite prospects while playing at Eureka in the class of 2004. Maualauga is Vainuku's cousin and the younger prospect is hoping to have similar success. Here he is in 2007 highlights.
