Saugus (Calif.) quarterback Desi Rodriguez, who has four offers, is seen here in action during his 2007 junior season... Saugus (Calif.) quarterback Desi Rodriguez (6-0, 185), is one of the top players in the CIF-SS Northern Division. A versatile athlete, Rodriguez is getting attention for a myriad of positions. Rodriguez has offers from Army, Air Force, Cal Poly and Portland State. As a junior, Rodriguez carried the ball 159 times for 1,256 yards and ran for 12 touchdowns and threw for 986 yards on 77-of-144 passing and 12 touchdown passes. He was a first team all-CIF-SS Northern Division choice and all-Foothill League first team, and co-MVP of Saugus's CIF semifinal squad. Here are 2007 highlights of Rodriguez in action.
