Dan Hilbert recently made a trip down to Chesapeake, Virginia to Oscar Smith High to check out a number of solid D-I prospects. In the class of 2009 the cream of the crop may be Jerrod Askew. Jerrod Askew is a solid 6-0 and 230 pounds. He currently holds more than 25 scholarship offers and recently informed Scout.com that he was focused on a top five of West Virginia, Alabama, South Carolina, Maryland and Tennessee. Askew is a pass rush specialist who tallied 120 tackles, 14 sacks and 24 tackles for loss as a junior.
