Mike Yeager is a versatile athlete out of Philadelphia, Pa., that could play cornerback, wide receiver or running back at the next level. Right now most of his interest is coming from the Division I-AA level and it sounds like he could grab some offers in September.
Mike Yeager, 5-foot-8, 175-pound athlete from St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia camped at four schools this season and while one didn’t end up with much interest from that specific school, it definitely spawned many other opportunities.
“I camped at Delaware, Boston College, Lehigh and Lafayette,” Yeager stated. “West Chester is another program that has really come up and started to show me a lot of interest lately. I also had a meeting with the head coach at Lehigh and was told they’d be sending me a financial aid package on September 1st. Lehigh is definitely my number one right now.”
“I went to camp at Boston College and they said they’re full at short-corner, however there were a lot of coaches from other schools there that were all very interested in me, so we’ll see how that works out.”
As a junior, Yeager carried the ball 29 times for 191 yards and five touchdowns. He also had an interception on defense.
He carries a 3.05 core GPA, scored a 1010 on his SAT, has a max bench of 320 pounds and a max squat of 465 pounds.
