Torrance (Calif.) West lineman Mark Clampitt, an all-combine choice in L.A., is starting to get more calls from colleges as he waits for offer number one to roll in... Torrance (Calif.) West offensive lineman Mark Clampitt is still waiting for his first offer, but the dialogue between him and college coaches is picking up. "I'm getting calls from some coaches now, but no offers yet," said Clampitt. A handful of coaches from the West have been in contact with Clampitt of late. "I received, this week, calls from Coach Heyward at Oregon State, Coach White at New Mexico, and Coach Holton at San Diego State," said Clampitt. On the field, Clampitt is getting it done for West, playing on both sides of the ball. "I played well last game, going both ways for most of the game at offensive tackle and defensive tackle," said Clampitt.
