This year is no different and Olajuwan Paige is looking for team who needs help in the secondary. Several schools have come knocking. Olajuwan Paige's journey to Georgia Military College has been an interesting one. In fact it's been anything but normal. "I graduated from Aiken High School in South Carolina," stated Olajuwan Paige. "I had an offer to play at New Mexico Military Institute. At the last minute, I backed out and decided to walk on at Georgia Military College." When does the talented CB plan on graduating? "I will graduate in December. I have already redshirted so I will have two years to play two." One of the major attractions to JUCO recruiting can be found in December graduation. This gives the player an extra spring practice under their belt and helps with adjusting to the speed of the game. Two schools have extended an offer to Paige. "I have an offer from UAB and Western Michigan. I have been to both schools unofficially. We were traveling to play Arkansas Baptist and my team stopped at UAB to practice. We toured the facility and I really like what UAB has to offer. Their facilities are top notch. They're having a tough season but they want me to come in and help them turn it around. It looks like I will visit there November 22nd when they play East Carolina. I don't know much about Western Michigan but we played a team in Grand Rapids and we practiced at Western Michigan. They were about to leave to go play Nebraska. I like what I saw." What other schools are in contact with the GMC star? "West Virginia called our coaches and wanted film on several of us. I look forward to hearing back from them. They may offer in the near future. Also, my teammate, Tony Straughter committed to South Carolina this weekend. Their coaches asked him if he knew any older guys who could help them out in the secondary next year. He gave them my name and my number. I would love to hear from South Carolina." What type of season is Georgia Military College having? "We're 2-1. We play in North Carolina next. Most of the teams we've played don't throw the ball. Later in the year we will play some teams that will and I can't wait to play more zone coverage. I think I will standout when we play more zone." While Paige can bring a lot to the table for a school at the next level, he doesn't hesitate when asked about his greatest strength. "My leadership is my greatest strength.
