Scout.com 's #40 rated cornerback was set to take an official visit
to Wake Forest this weekend until Friday night's game.
"I got horse
collared and sprained my back on a punt return with four minutes left in the game,"
added Demontre Hurst. "I had to go see a doctor yesterday to get it checked
out, so I could not make it on my visit. It is just a sprain. I am OK."
Does
Demontre plan to reschedule the visit?
"I have not spoken to Wake Forest yet, but I plan on calling them in the morning and getting it rescheduled."
The
Lancaster (TX) native visited Arizona in October and does not have anymore visits
lined up.
"I was talking to Kansas State about getting a visit lined
up in December, but their coaches got fired. I have not heard from them since."
One
more college that was heavily involved dismissed their staff.
"Tennessee
offered me a while back. We have been talking a lot, but I have not heard from
them since they were let go. I am not sure on either of those schools (Tenn and
KSU) now."
Who are the top contenders?
"Arizona, Wake
Forest, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU and Minnesota."
Demontre
has 45 tackles, 2 int's, 2 forced fumbles, 10 pass breakups and has returned a
108 yard and 80 yard kickoff for touchdowns."
