You can argue until you are blue in the face over who is the best wide receiver in the nation. Our pick is Logan Heastie and he has not disappointed us anytime he has performed in front of us. His senior highlight film confirms what we have thought about him since late last year.

Chesapeake (Va.) Great Bridge five-star wide receiver Logan Heastie has been ranked as the top wide receiver in the nation since our first rankings of the class of 2009 came out in late 2007. He has not given up the spot once.

Heastie has not hid from competition. He feels he is the best at his position and he has no problem putting his skills on display for anyone who wants to watch. Heastie has now made his senior highlight reel and again it shows just how impressive he is.

The West Virginia commit shows his acceleration and ability to get up in the air and pull the ball down in traffic. He gets separation in man coverage and finds the soft spots in zone coverage. He will block when asked to. He can catch a short pass and turn it into a 40-yard play.

Heastie is still mulling over a potential trip to North Carolina, but he has maintained to Scout.com that he is still solid with the Mountaineers. Here are Heastie’s senior highlights.
