Tim Breaker doesn’t know a whole lot about the word failure after losing only one game in his high school career while holding the reigns at the quarterback position. Right now he is trying to figure out which college he will attend which is proving to be a tougher task than winning two state championships in a row.
Glassboro High School athlete Tim Breaker has been a signal caller for his entire career, however he has also shown solid ability in the defensive backfield as a safety as well. He recently took his first official visit to Buffalo and talked to Scout.com about where he is looking right now.
“I just got back from an official visit to Buffalo and really loved Head Coach Turner Gill and the rest of the coaching staff,” Breaker explained. “I like the campus a lot and got along with the players well. They are definitely a school that I’m seriously considering going to at this point.”
“The schools I’ve been in contact the most with other than Buffalo have been New Hampshire, Pittsburgh, Temple and Rhode Island,” Breaker added. “I would love to hear from Rutgers because I like their staff, but I haven’t right now. My coach is still in the process of sending out my senior film now.”
Breaker enjoyed a 24-0 record in two seasons at Glassboro and two state championships. As a senior, he was named first-team All-Conference at defensive back and quarterback, first-team All-County at defensive back, first-team defensive back Group I and second-team defensive back All South Jersey. He passed for 1258 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior to only two interceptions. He also had six rushing touchdowns and one punt return touchdown. On defense, he had 62 tackles, two interceptions and four forced fumbles, one of which he recovered and returned for another score.
