Head Coach Al Golden and his Temple coaching staff worked their magic again this season and kept one of the top prospects in Philadelphia at home on North Broad Street when three-star offensive lineman Kadeem Custis gave the Owls his verbal commitment this weekend. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound lineman also had offers from West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Duke and North Carolina State to name a few. Neumann-Goretti Head Coach Bill Sytsma commented on why Custis chose the hometown Owls. "Al Golden," Sytsma said, simply. "He spent a lot of time with Kadeem, and he really believed in him.
