Mark Brazinski has a flare for the extravagant, so don’t be surprised to see an interesting hat ceremony take place when he announces his decision at the Under Armour game this week. We talked to him for the last time before he leaves for the game on Sunday to get a feel for where he’s at.
“My visit to California was really fun,” Mark Brazinski stated. “It was a big difference in lifestyle and culture on the west coast, but you could see they really care about their football out there, just like we do in New Jersey. I got a lot of positive feedback from the coaches when feeling them out and liked what I had to hear from everyone.”
“I got to meet with the offensive coordinator and Head Coach Jeff Tedford and liked them both a lot,” Brazinski added. “They actually took us all over to Coach Tedford’s house and we played some knockout on the basketball court. I didn’t do so well with all the jet lag and what not and I guess I’ll just say that it’s good I’m not a basketball recruit.”
Brazinski was originally committed to Rutgers, however he gave Scout.com his finalists and the Scarlet Knights are not in consideration anymore.
“I leave for the Under Armour game on the 30th and expect a fast-paced game and hope to have some fun playing against some great competition,” Brazinski explained. “I’m going to announce there and the hats on the table will be Florida State, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Boston College and California.”
Brazinski has given absolutely no hints as to where he’ll play at the next level, however it wouldn’t be a surprise at all to see him go to Penn given his strong focus on academics. In fact, that would be the prediction at this point.
