Detroit King is always one of the top talent producers in the PSL. While the Crusaders did not have the 2008 campaign they wanted, that was not because they didn't have some talent. Senior defensive end Orlando McCord was one of their leaders and he made his college choice this weekend.

Detroit King defensive end Orlando McCord let Scout.com in on his commitment yesterday.

"I took an official visit to Eastern Michigan this past weekend and I also committed to their school when they offered a scholarship."

The 6'4, 250-lb McCord is a big pickup for new head coach Ron English and his staff. He was a 1st team All-Detroit selection as a senior after recording 45 tackles.

He also won the team's defensive line award as a junior, the same season the Crusaders won a state title.
