With the end of the evaluation season, the class of 2010 continues to come into focus and the Scout.com recruiting team is ready to release its updated Scout300 rankings.
The top three players in the class continues to stay the same with Seantrel Henderson, the 6-foot-8, 301 pound offensive lineman from Cretin-Derham Hall in Saint Paul remains as the top overall prospect followed by running back Marcus Lattimore from Duncan, S.C. and Justin McCay from Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
The newest addition to the top five is highlight-reel sensation Jeff Luc, a linebacker from Treasure Coast in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Other big movers in the Scout 300 include defensive tackle George Uko from Don Antonio Lugo in Chino, California who had a huge day at the Los Angeles Scout.com Combine over the weekend, and Alabama fullback commitment Jalston Fowler from C.F. Vigor in Prichard, Alabama whose rise in the rankings also included a discussion about possibly moving the 6-foot, 245-pound jumbo athlete to the running back position.
Rankings were done by the Scout team, submitted by the Regional Managers and compiled by Scott Kennedy, Scout.com's Director of Scouting. There are currently 35 players listed with five stars 200 more with four stars. As the year progresses, the Scout300 will eventually move to the customary 50 five stars and 250 four stars.
