It took a while, but Josh Milhollin can now take a nice, long breath. After going to camps and working hard in the off-season, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound quarterback from South Medford High School in Medford, Ore. was rewarded with his first scholarship offer, from Portland State University, Scout.com learned Thursday night.

Idaho and Princeton have been also been recruiting Milhollin hard, and right now it appears as if he won't make a final decision until after an official visit to PSU to make sure it's the perfect fit for him.

Milhollin is currently the No. 6 rated player in the state of Oregon by Scout.com. He was a Southwest Conference Honorable Mention pick at quarterback and punter after a strong junior campaign. He went 151-278 for 2285 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2008. He also averaged over 37 yards a punt, with a long kick of 72 yards.
